I fell deeply deeply in love with a Pakistani girl. We met online then in person. It was the most wonderful time of my life and she was the most beautiful woman I had ever met. Not only external beauty which was heart-stopping at every glance, but her heart and soul were even more beautiful. I asked her to marry me and she did want to marry me. Unfortunately her family was asked to leave the USA and later, her family did not support our desire to get married. I even started going to Mosque and learned a whole new respect for Islam and was working towards converting. I heard that in Islam, your wife is half of your life. She was my whole life. I use to tell her that she reminded me of my life. I could go on and on but unfortunately she and I wont be able to marry. But I know that I would like another chance to meet a beautiful Pakistani Lady. Not to replace her but because I experienced a beauty, wisdom, strength, kindness, tenderness, caring, courage and demeanor that captured my heart and I can’t help but want to marry a woman with these qualities. Pakistani women are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. I don’t think it holds as true for any other group of women on this earth.

February 6, 1976 in Konya, Turkey) is a software engineer who developed the social networking service Orkut.

Originally from Konya, Turkey, Büyükkökten obtained a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering and Information Science from Bilkent University in Ankara, and earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University. His research at Stanford focused on Web search and efficient PDA usage.

He developed Orkut.com as a 20% independent project while working at Google. In late June 2004, Affinity Engines filed suit against Google, claiming that Büyükkökten and Google based Orkut.com on code for InCircle, an application intended for university alumni groups. The allegation is based on the alleged presence of nine identical bugs in Orkut.com and in InCircle.^[1]

The Story.... A guy lost his girlfriend in a train accident....

but the gal's name nowhere appeared in the dead list. This guy

grew up n became IT technical architect in his late 20?s, achievement in itself!!.

He hired developers from the whole globe and plan to make a

software where he could search for his gf through the web..

Things went as planned...

n he found her, after losing millions of dollars and 3 long years!!

It was time to shut down the search operation, when the CEO of Google had a

word with this guy n took over this application,

This Software made a whopping 1 billion dollars profit in its first year,

which we today know as ORKUT .



The guy's name is ORKUT BUYUKKOTEN . Yes its named after him only. Today he

is paid a hefty sum by Google for the things we do like scrapping. He is

expected to b the richest person by 2009.

ORKUT BUYUKKOTEN today has 13 assistants to monitor his scrapbook & 8 to

monitor his friends-list. He gets around 20,000 friend-requests a day &

about 85,000 scraps!!!

*He gets $12 from Google when every person registers to this website.

*He also gets $10 when you add somebody as a friend.

* He gets $8 when your friend's friend adds you as a friend & gets $6 if

anybody adds you as friend in the resulting chain.

* He also gets $200 for each photograph you upload on Orkut.
